Mission

Why the Committee
exists

To provide independent, competent, and impartial accreditation of management system certification bodies operating in the Eurasian region, in accordance with internationally recognised standards and criteria.

The Eurasian Accreditation Committee was established to address the need for a regional accreditation body that operates transparently and in full conformance with ISO/IEC 17011:2017. By accrediting certification bodies against ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, the Committee contributes to the reliability and consistency of management system certifications issued across the region.

01
Impartiality
Accreditation decisions are made independently, free from commercial, political, or other pressures that could compromise objectivity.
02
Competence
The Committee maintains a pool of qualified assessors with demonstrated expertise in management systems and conformity assessment.
03
Transparency
Criteria, procedures, and decisions are publicly documented. The register of accredited bodies is maintained and openly accessible.
04
Consistency
Assessments are conducted using consistent criteria derived from ISO/IEC 17021-1 and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents.
