All documents listed below are publicly available in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011:2017. They define how the Committee operates, makes decisions, and handles complaints and appeals.

Impartiality Policy
Defines the Committee's commitment to impartiality, how threats to impartiality are identified, analysed, and managed across all accreditation activities.

Why public policies matter

Transparency as
a requirement

ISO/IEC 17011:2017 requires accreditation bodies to make certain policies publicly available. This is not optional — it is a structural requirement that supports the credibility of accreditation as a service.

Public availability of policies allows certification bodies, regulators, and other stakeholders to verify how the Committee operates, how decisions are made, and how conflicts of interest and complaints are handled.

§ 5.2
Impartiality. The accreditation body shall make publicly available its policy for managing impartiality and shall implement this policy.
§ 8.5
Confidentiality. The accreditation body shall have a documented policy for managing confidential information obtained in the course of its activities.
§ 9.8
Complaints and appeals. The accreditation body shall have a documented process for receiving and responding to complaints and appeals, and shall make information about this process publicly available.
§ 7.6
Publicly available information. The accreditation body shall maintain and make publicly accessible information about its accreditation activities, criteria, and the register of accredited bodies.
